BANANA CARAMEL NICECREAM
My fellow vegan friends. I know that you, too, feel the heartbreak of the UNJUST $10-$15 charge for 500ml of ice-cream.
I give this gift to you, all you need is some frozen banana and a spare 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
3 frozen bananas (must be very ripe) - either in chunks or halves is good for the blending
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp of vanilla essence
1/4 of almond milk (and more if necessary)
1 tbsp of natural peanut butter
Method:
Put all ingredients in a food processor or a high speed blender, and whizz up until a creamy sundae consistency.
You may need to add extra splashes of almond milk if the mixture is too thick and not mixing properly.
You can freeze for 10 minutes after blending the mixture for an extra ice-cream texture, but this is optional and you can eat it straight away too!
Top with any sundae-inspired ingredients like melted vegan chocolate, chocolate chips, berries, muesli, the options are endless. However, it IS delicious alone.
